ACTIONS
We all have those standard, one size-fits-all rifles that
are mass produced. But wouldn't it be nice to have a barreled
action built exactly the way you want it? And wouldn't it
even be nicer if it didn't cost you $3,000.00?
Whether you want a rifle in 243 Winchester or 458 Lott,
the Montana Rifleman and Montana Rifle Company working together
can produce that custom barreled action you've always wanted.
And at a price that even your significant other can appreciate.
Our team of sales professionals will work with you to produce
a once-in-a-lifetime barreled action, the first step towards
your custom rifle.
Currently we are offering barreled actions in our Short
Action and Long Actions.

And before your barreled action is finished you can get
in touch with one of the stockmakers currently making an
inlet pattern for our action for your custom stock. Check

Please note that on barreled actions we require 1/2 down
prior to any work starting. If after ordering a barreled
action you decide to cancel, all money will be refunded
if "no" work has begun. If you decide to cancel
after the work has already begun, a 15% restocking fee for
the barrel & labor will be assessed.
Also note that we are not a custom shop. We are not equipped
to do every custom item that you would like accomplished.
If you have something specific in mind on your barreled
action be sure to consult your sales representative about
that item. There are cases where we can have local gunsmiths
perform these functions for you, but be sure to ask to be
sure. |

Please note that we DO NOT build
switch barrel rifles and do not recommend that is done except for
by those that are experienced in doing so. We cannot guarantee that
our action will feed both of your cartridges out of the same action.
We will guarantee the feeding of a barreled action only. If we are
not doing the barreling it is the responsibility of the person barreling
the action to ensure that it is feeding properly. We will try to
help you in any way we can with information or tips.

prices. Upgrades such as fluting, octagons and bluing are extra
and should be discussed with a sales representative.
